Gameday 25 a success; the second-largest ever!

Another Gameday come and gone! This time around we saw great attendance numbers. By my count, we likely hit 51-52 attendees, which makes Gameday 25 the second-largest in the history of our little event. Big thanks go out to Games Plus, out volunteer GMs, and everyone who attended. I’d also like to extend a big thank-you to the people from RPGChicago for helping promote us.

Yes, even as we are signing up players for Gameday 25, I’ve been conferring with Games Plus about a date for Gameday 26. We are currently confirmed for June 12th. If this sin’t advance notice, I don’t know what is. Mark your calendars!

Gameday 25 player-sign up begins Feb 15th

This is the Official Notification™ that player sign-up for Gameday 25 will begin on Feb 15th at 7pm. At that time, I’ll post the URL for the sign-up thread.

Planning for Gameday 25 is wrapping up nicely. The following events are currently on the docket (but still potentially subject to change):

Morning (9:30am start):

Miniatures Painting Workshop
Inspectres
Star Wars Saga Edition
Weapons of the Gods
Pathfinder
Medieval Fantasy Combat Miniatures Game by Creative Mountain Games
44: A Game of Automatic Fear

Afternoon (3:30pm start):

Swords & Wizardry (OD&D)
Supernatural RPG
D&D 4e
D&D 4e/Paranoia XP mash-up
Serial Homicide Unit
and, yes, more D&D 4e!

As you can see we have one more event in the morning than we do the afternoon. If anyone would like to step up and run an event, we’d much appreciate it. Just head on over to the planning thread and post your idea.

The date for Gameday 25 is fast approaching (FYI, it’s Feb 27th). So, it’s time to start planning our events. A planning thread will be created on ENWorld on Sunday, January 24th, at around 12noon or so. A post will be made with the thread URL at that time. Heads up!

I’ve just heard from Games Plus that Saturday, Feb 27th is ours for the next Gameday. Planning and such will not happen for a while yet, but be sure to mark your calendars!
